Although there’s no Bellator Fighting Championships event this week due to its “Road to the Championship” special, the fight card for next week’s Bellator 43 event is set.

Headlining the show is the welterweight-tournament finale between Rick Hawn (11-0 MMA, 3-0 BFC) and Jay Hieron (21-4 MMA, 2-0 BFC), and three other bouts round out the televised main card.

Bellator 43 takes place May 7 at First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla. As with all of Bellator’s season-four cards, the show airs live on MTV2.

Also on the main card are UFC/Strikeforce veteran Joe Riggs (34-13) vs. Bellator season-two middleweight-tourney runner-up Bryan Baker (14-2 MMA, 4-1 BFC), Bellator season-three heavyweight-tourney runner-up Neil Grove (10-3-1 MMA, 2-1 BFC) vs. “The Ultimate Fighter 10” cast member Zak Jensen (10-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC), and WEC bantamweight vet Chase Beebe (17-7 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. season-three tourney semifinalist Jose Vegas (9-4 MMA, 2-1 BFC).

The prelims feature welterweights Joey Gorczynski (18-10 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Tyler Stinson (20-7 MMA, 2-2 BFC), featherweights Cole Province (6-2 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Dustin Blake (6-2 MMA, 0-0 BFC), heavyweights Ron Sparks (6-0 MMA, 1-0 BFC) vs. Josh Barnes (6-5 MMA, 0-1 BFC), and lightweights Mike Schatz (3-3 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Michael Osborn (2-3 MMA, 1-0 BFC).
