Bobby Lashley vs. Ron Sparks

Ever since making his way into the MMA world, Lashley (5-0 MMA, 1-0 SF) fights for the second time under the Strikeforce banner. The former collegiate wrestling champion and WWE star made his debut in January and earned a first-round victory over an out-of-shape Wes Sims. The muscular Lashley has earned four of his five career wins by first-round stoppage.

Sparks (5-0), who had been expected to face fellow up-and-comer Shane del Rosario at the event, earned a unanimous decision over Jonathan Ivey last June in his most-recent bout following four-straight first-round knockouts to begin his career, with the longest lasting just 67-seconds.

Robbie Lawler vs. Renato Sobral

StrikeForce: “Los Angeles” will also feature a 195 pound catchweight bout between former EliteXC middleweight champion Robbie Lawler taking on former StrikeForce light heavyweight champion Renato ‘Babalu’ Sobral in the main event of the evening.

Lawler (19-5 MMA, 1-1 SF) returns to the Strikeforce cage after a thrilling first-round knockout win over Melvin Manheof at January’s “Strikeforce: Miami.” Lawler absorbed a series of punishing low kicks in the fight and appeared destined to fall victim to the Dutch striker’s powerful attacks, but a well-timed counter-attack left Manhoef sprawled on the canvas.

KJ Noons vs. Krazy Horse II

KJ Noons was slapped silly by Bennett in their “EliteXC: Destiny” shootout back in February 2007. Bennett holds a 22-16-2 mark and has gone a mundane 4-3 since defeating Noons. Most recently, Bobby Green put the controversial lightweight to sleep in the 1stRound of their KOTC scrap in December 2009.

Noons (8-2 MMA, 0-0 SF), the first and only EliteXC lightweight champion, fights for the first time for Strikeforce. Noons took a 21-month break from MMA competition and focused on a professional boxing career, though he returned in March and earned a unanimous decision over Brazilian Andre Amade in a DREAM.13 contest.
