UFC 95 02 Arena Odds – Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Stevenson

UFC 95

Venue: 02 Arena
Broadcast: Spike TV

The impressive O2 Arena in London will be the stage for

a monstrous UFC event during which American lightweight mixed martial artists Diego Sanchez and Joe “Daddy” Stevenson will be facing each other in the Octagon.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently confirmed the television line up for its upcoming show at The O2 Arena in London, England, on Feb. 21, which is scheduled to air for free on the United States at 9 p.m. ET via tape delay.

Diego Sanchez will test his Octagon fighting skills in his first fight at 155 pounds.

The middleweight winner of the first season of Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter” has signed a bout agreement to face Joe Stevenson at UFC 95 on Feb. 21 at the O2 Arena in London.

Diego Sanchez 26, has won his most recent fight via TKO so expectations are high for him as well. Sanchez (19-2) submitted David Bielkheden at UFC 82 last March and stopped gritty American Top Team standout Luigi Fioravanti with strikes at “The Ultimate Fighter 7” Finale in June.

Sanchez’s only two career losses have come in the welterweight ranks to Josh Koscheck at UFC 69 in April 2007 and Jon Fitch via split decision at UFC 76 in September 2007.

Stevenson (29-9), who won TUF’s second season at welterweight, has dropped two of his last three bouts. The former King of the Cage and Gladiator Challenge champion succumbed to a second-round rear-naked choke at the hands of lightweight champion B.J. Penn at UFC 80 last January in Newcastle, England, and was submitted with the same maneuver by Kenny Florian at UFC 91 in November.

In addition to the UFC 95: Diego Sanchez v Joe Stevenson Showdown, there will also be breathtaking fights between Josh Koschek & Paulo Thiago, Rory Markham & Dan Hardy as well as between Paul Kelly &

Troy Mandaloniz, among others! February 21st will be a memorable day for mixed martial arts in Britain.
